Creative Visionary

Welcome to my little online dorm!

Hi, I’m Barnaby - a Graphic Designer driven by a passion for creativity and storytelling. With a focus on capturing timeless moments, I bring a fresh perspective and attention to detail to every project. My experience as a junior creative has shaped my approach to design, blending strong principles with imaginative ideas. This space is where I share my work, inspirations, and ongoing journey in the world of visual communication.

I’m here to guide you through the creative process with a blend of artistic vision, thoughtful design, and a passion for storytelling. As a printmaker, graphic artist, and aspiring creator, creativity isn’t just my profession—it’s my way of connecting with the world.

Through my journey as an artist and designer, I’ve cultivated a deep appreciation for the power of visual communication and its ability to inspire, evoke emotions, and make a lasting impact. This drive to create meaningful and beautiful work fuels everything I do, whether collaborating with brands that share my values or building my own creative projects.

When I’m not sketching out ideas or bringing concepts to life in the studio, you’ll likely find me immersed in photography, experimenting with new screen printing techniques, enjoying a Biscoff-inspired treat, or finding peace through art and music.

Let’s create something extraordinary together!

It all begins with an idea.

  • When working under tight deadlines, I first focus on understanding the project's main objectives and target audience. I prioritise the most critical design elements that will have the greatest impact, such as layout, typography, and key visuals. I then break the project into manageable tasks, setting realistic timeframes for each. Finally, I ensure open communication with the team to address any issues quickly and make adjustments as needed.

  • I feel most comfortable using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, as they offer a broad range of tools for both digital and print design. I also use Figma for collaborative web design projects, as it's efficient for prototyping and real-time feedback.

  • I stay updated with design trends by regularly following design blogs, industry websites, competitor websites, and influencers on platforms like Behance and Instagram. I also participate in webinars or workshops to learn new techniques. To grow my skills, I dedicate time to personal projects that challenge me outside of client work and experiment with new tools and softwares. Additionally, I seek feedback from peers and mentors to improve my design approach and keep evolving.
